This year’s REIQ Property Management Conference is shaping up to be our biggest and best ever. The theme of this year’s event is ‘You have survived, now it’s time to thrive’. After the recent challenging times in real estate, this is the perfect theme for the event.
Michael Gapes of Carter Newell and myself will be presenting an interactive session appropriately entitled ‘Keeping out of trouble’. In this session, we will explore some of the usual traps property managers can fall into, common complaints raised by tenants and landlords and ways to minimise risk and claims in property management practice. Michael Gapes has a wealth of knowledge of all things property management related so it should be a great session.
There are also some other really exciting speakers lined up for the event including Katie Knight, 2012 REIQ Property Manager of the year and back by popular demand, James Castrisson and Justin Jones. James and Justin will be sharing their amazing story about their recent Antarctic journey. I’m told that last time these two spoke at one of our events, there was not a dry eye in the house! I can’t wait to hear about their epic journey across the ice. Of course all property managers want to learn more about QCAT. Delivering this information, we have Stacey Holt as well as a QCAT representative joining us on the day.
This is just a taste of some of the great topics and speakers you can expect on the day. If you haven’t already done, get your skates on and register to be part of one of the most popular property management events in the country. For more information click here.
See you all on 20 April!
